Armageddon 2010 Major Event Summary

As 2010 slips into history, the Armageddon staff would like to give a short overview of this years events and accomplishments.

2010 was Armageddon Ministries most successful year. In previous years Armageddon has only put on one event per year. This year we organized three. Two paintball events (Vietnam and Weekend Warriors.) and one airsoft event (Vietnam). Due to our generous sponsors, the Armageddon team was able to give away over $1500.00 in prizes. Including a custom Armageddon 2010 S6 from CCM and a Vientam era M14 airsoft rifle from The Foxhole. Eight combat commendations were awarded at both Vietnam events including Leadership, Combat Medic and Rookie of the Day.

Armageddon also introduced it’s youtube channel and Facebook page this year.  Youtube Channel. Facebook Page.

The “Photos & Videos” page has been updated to make navigation easier, also  photos from the “Weekend Warriors” event held on Dec. 4th are now available.

What To Expect In 2011.

We are planning on at least six events in 2011, weather depending. Two Vietnam scenario game, one for paintball and the other for airsoft, and at least four Weekend Warrior events.( Weekend Warrior events are free field entry and consist of a speedball field, urban field and woodsball.)

We would like to thank Topstitch, CCM and The Foxhole for their continued support of this ministry. We also thank everyone who participated in this years events. Whether you played at an event or volunteer for one, the Armageddon staff thanks you.

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR DEC. 4TH

Dec. 4th from 0900 to 1600 and like the flyer says ” FIELD ENTRY IS FREE!” Urban, Woods, and Speedball courses will be available at this event. (Directions) All day Air and Paint prices will be set by Topstitch. (530-244-2220)

The long awaited Armageddon Vietnam 2010: Paintball Video

Armageddon Miniseries is currently celebrating its most successful year thus far. We have already hosted two large scenario game. Our first Airsoft event was a total success and we are planning on integrating Airsoft into our annual schedule.

We have been reserving a lot of questions regarding our Redding Speedball project and we will take this time to address them. Armageddon has received all the netting, inflatable bunkers and poles required to operated a speedball field through several generous donations. ( Special thanks to Will at A&W Auto Sales) What is holding us back is finding property to host our events. The Ministry is not in the financial position to buy or rent property so we find ourselves stuck.

The Armageddon Staff would like to thank everyone for joining us at Vietnam! We hope you enjoyed yourselves and got a paintball or Airsoft experience you’ll never forget.

Armageddon’s first Airsoft event had 27 players show up for a day of missions and story driven game play.  We would like to thank the Foxhole for their donations of a Classic Army M15A1 and other tactical prizes. We would also like to thank the Nor-Cal Veterans Historical Association for bringing out their 1960’s era Huey for everyone to enjoy. Armageddon was please to see Redding’s own Redding Airsoft Team (RAT Squad) at the event along with players from as far as Mt. Shasta.

Armageddon’s Paintball event was nothing short of epic. Over 120 players from all over Nor-Cal came and joined in Operation Clean Sweep. Members of CCM, Killer Jelly Fish, Team FogDog and Team Ezekiel were at the event. CCM generously donated a Custom Armageddon 2010 S6 pump which was raffled off at lunch time. Also TopStitch donated hundreds of Pods and several pod packs to give away.

We are so thankful for the support from local paintball companies and our local players. It is our goal to bring quality paintball and Airsoft events back to the Northern State.
